The Great Thief

Chapter 1830 - Lu Li’s Anger

Chapter 1830: Lu Li’s Anger

From above, there were the Infernals. From below, there were the Chariots. Although Blood Red War Flag fought valiantly, they still ended up losing their Stronghold in the end.

Tragic!

Lu Li wiped the tears from his eyes and was completely over the moon at what had happened. He thought that he was quite merciful. At the very least, he didn’t voice-call Jade Flower Lover and use a condescending tone of voice to comfort him. After all, this was what Jade Flower Lover had done to him just a few moments ago.

“Azure Guard also lost. The whole Tanaris is Glory Capital’s. They only used seven Infernals.”

“Haha. What weaklings. How many Infernals do you think we’ll be able to take out with our Fel Reavers?” Lu Li wasn’t surprised at all. He was just curious as to what would happen in a fight between the Infernals and Fel Reavers.

“We’re still operating the Fel Reavers on a basic level, so we don’t know the full capabilities yet. However, from an offensive standpoint, I think that a single Fel Reaver would be worth as much as ten Infernals. Furthermore, Fel Reavers are meant to specialise in defence, so from what we saw in Glory Capital’s battle with Blood Red War Flag, we will be able to defend against them.”

“Sigh. How sad! My Fel Reaver! Why didn’t they attack us?”

“If they really wanted to attack us, they wouldn’t have been so open about it,” Sky Moon said, after thinking about it for a while. He didn’t think that there were any negatives in Glory Capital not attacking Ruling Sword. He wasn’t like Lu Li, who wanted Glory Capital to attack them.

“Do you reckon that they’ll attack us next time?”

“If it was me, I wouldn’t. Glory Capital has too many Strongholds. They already have six Strongholds under their own name. Defending is already a problem, so I don’t think that they’ll have enough power to attack us as well,” Sky Moon answered truthfully.

“....” Lu Li was furious and speechless. In the end, he could only curse.

This was like preparing a feast for guests to eat and waiting in anticipation for them to praise your food, only to have them not turn up. That disappointment was unmatched.

“If they don’t attack us, then we can still attack them anyway.” Sky Moon didn’t understand why Lu Li was angry.

“You don’t understand,” Lu Li sighed as he waved his hands and sulked, before continuing, “Have you ever had the sort of experience where you have a piece of meat and it smells really nice and tastes really good, but as you’re eating it you end up finding...”

“Crap on it?” Sky Moon asked with his eyes wide open.

“Hm...Similar to that type of feeling.”

Lu Li suddenly felt that his analogy was not a good one. It made him seem like he had personally experienced this. Well, these were the capabilities of an uneducated man.

“Boss, I haven’t had an experience like this,” Sky Moon admitted with a pitiful gaze.

“Cough, cough. If Glory Capital decided to attack our Stronghold and is on the verge of winning, we will unleash our Fel Reavers and completely destroy them...” Lu Li said as he rubbed his hands together in excitement. “Let them have a whiff of what victory is, then unleash complete despair on them – how good would that feel...”

“That’s right. It’s the taste of eating poop. I know it now.”

Sky Moon scratched his head, showing that he understood.

Lu Li was done ranting by then. His Fel Reaver was now a joke. The battle with Glory Capital would have been recorded into the history books, but now, it was gone.

Besides the changing of ownership of the Strongholds from Blood Red War Flag and Azure Guard to Glory Capital, there weren’t many other changes. Ruling Sword remained in control of Grey Valley and the Black Sea Coast, while the Life Alliance held the other Stronghold in Grey Valley. Drizzle Court held both Strongholds in Westfall, while Peerless City was heavily guarding Stonetalon Mountains.

The Barrenlands, Stranglethorn Vale, the whole of Tanaris, and both Strongholds in Hillsbrad Foothills all belonged to Glory Capital.

Gale Legion held the Desolace.

The Thousand Needles were Wings of Dawn’s territory, while Un’Goro Crater was Seventh Heaven’s. The Hinterlands belonged to Purple Lunar Paradise, and the Arathi Highlands belonged to Stellar Union.

Generally speaking, all the clubs in the top ten rankings had Strongholds. Blood Red War Flag and Azure Guard originally had one each, but theirs were conquered by Glory Capital during this round’s battles. It didn’t matter how much they cried. It wouldn’t change a thing.

“We found information on the sunken ship that dropped Infernal scrolls. It’s near the port in Stranglethorn Vale. The exact position is still unknown, since Glory Capital’s been guarding it heavily. They would kill whoever got close to that port,” Sky Moon continued to report.

No matter what, this was the truth. Glory Capital now had Infernals. However, Lu Li had also discovered something – Glory Capital did not have many Infernals left. They were unable to continue to completely overwhelm their opponents. This was apparent when they were fighting Azure Guard and only summoned seven Infernals.

If they still had an army Infernals, then it was completely possible for them to take down two more Strongholds.

Lu Li was growing excited, as he fantasized of Glory Capital going all out on them during the next Stronghold battles. Then, he would unleash his Fel Reavers and crush them!

After the end of the Stronghold battles, the mega-clubs wouldn’t continue to fight meaninglessly. Everyone needed to grind for levels and craft new equipment to prepare for the next great battle.

Even if this was the case, the Hellfire Citadel battles were still as bloodthirsty as ever.

This was probably the most exciting area for Outlands PVP. The terrain was complicated and barren. Ruling Sword’s Night Watch team were heavily involved in the battles.

These Paladins were at the lowest in the player food chain. Nevertheless, they struck fear and admiration into the hearts of other players.

After this, many new players who entered the game for the first time would choose Paladin as their class. They didn’t aim to be as strong as the Night Watch team, but they wanted to be as cool as them. This would be the beginning of many different Paladin-focused guilds. of the Holy Light’ and many others.

Lu Li was impatient. However, no matter how impatient he was, he understood that he needed to grind for experience as well.

He was already long gone from the level rankings. Even Sakura Memories and Azure Sea Breeze were already level 63. Many players who were now level 63 were already grinding for level 64. This all happened in the span of a few days.

If Lu Li copied others and grinded for levels just like they did, he felt that it would insult his identity as a person who was reborn.

After grinding the Hellfire Citadels and letting it go on cooldown, Lu Li immediately set out for the next map, Zangarmarsh.

Previously, he was in the Hellfire Peninsula which was completely barren and with no living plants. However, the next area was lush with vegetation and greenery. Draenor had its clear differences. Naturally, with the drastic differences in terrain and climate, the intersecting area between these two maps was not easy to pass.
